General Power of Competence

Marden Parish Council, at it's meeting on 7th May 2024, resolved that it continues to meet the criteria for General Power of Competence.  The criteria being:

Two thirds of its members must hold office as a result of being declared elected (or uncontested election) and not co-opted: In MPC's case this is 4 Cllrs.

The Clerk must hold the certificate of Local Council Administration: Clerk obtained this certificate in 2006.
