MPC Cllrs and Employees

Marden Parish Council should have 11 Councillors, but only 9 of which were elected at the uncontested 2024 elections: Cllrs Adam, Besant, Boswell, Gibson, Newton, Rabot, Summersgill, Tippen and Turner.

Cllr Paul Dobinson was co-opted onto the Council on 13th August 2024 but unfortunately had to resign in January 2025.

Cllr Matt Besant resigned from the Council 7th October 2024, and was replaced by Cllr Jon Goda when he was co-opted at the December Full Council meeting.

Following Cllr Dobinson's resignation this has now been advertised as a casual vacancy along with one vacancy for co-option - please see Elections - Marden Parish Council Marden, Tonbridge, Kent - Marden Parish Council, Marden, Tonbridge (mardenkent-pc.gov.uk)

The Parish Council employs 1 full time Parish Clerk, 1 part time Deputy Clerk, 1 part time Administrative Assistant, 1 part time village caretaker and 1 part time cemetery caretaker.
