Public Conveniences
Marden Public Conveniences are located in Marden village car park (What3Words: probing.slippers.optimists).
Marden public conveniences are owned by Maidstone Borough Council but Marden Parish Council have leased them for several years undertaking responsibility for cleaning, insurance, maintenance and repairs.
MPC received a grant from voltalia community (Solar Farm at Horsmonden) to be put towards the installation of solar panels on the roof of the building. Unfortunately this has taken a while to come to fruition due to having to obtain a licence for works from Maidstone Borough Council and have a structural report completed.
Structural work has been been undertaken and it is hoped that solar panels can be installed later this year.
