Highways Improvement Plan – May 2026
Marden Parish Council has put together a Highways Improvement Plan which outlines highways issues raised by residents.
Items are added to the Highways Improvement Plan (HIP) and each year Cllrs view the content and work through a priority matrix to ascertain the top 5 important issues to add to the Highways Improvement Plan Priority List. This is then sent to Kent Highways who view the issues and report back as to costings involved (some costs may need to be incurred by the Parish Council) and the feasibility of the project.
The HIP is updated regularly and reported to the MPC Highways Working Group to discuss the issues included in the document and report to Full Council on items suggested for the priority list each year.
